Olivier SAGNE

Biography

Olivier SAGNE has worked for nearly ten years as an assistant director on television and film sets. He worked behind the scenes of Antonin Peretjatko's “The Law of the Jungle” films or Albert Dupontel's “Goodbye up there” to name the most recent ones.

Originally from Guyana, his first self-produced short film shot in Cayenne "handstorming", was notably cited in the Cahiers du Cinéma.

With his experience on the Parisian asphalt and in the Amazon jungle, Olivier now wants to reconnect with his first love by telling stories. Guyana remains for him an inexhaustible gold mine of inspiration and fantasies through its heritage and its current events.
