PASCAL MESSAOUDI

Biography

Pascal Messaoudi is a director of documentaries and sound creations.
He studied theater and became an actor for ten years.
He then discovered the world of radio and attended a radio journalism school at the CFPJ in Montpellier.
He worked for two years in a local radio station in Millau (12) as a journalist and then he moved to Marseille to meet Radio Grenouille and since 2003 he has collaborated regularly with them.
At the same time, he worked for a long time inside the Baumettes prison to do radio and sound creations with the prisoners.

He has produced several sound documentaries: Tendre Béton, Les voix de l'intérieur, Le sac de lawitch (collective production Radio Grenouille and Açik Radio. Istanbul), Messe Basse (a series of 18 radio documentaries on different places in Marseille)…
