Biography

Lucien Burckel de Tell was born in Paris in 1991. After two years of preparatory classes, he decided to study cinema in Madrid. He entered the ECAM in the Direction department. He directed more than four short films there, including Le noise des rails and Réplica, which were selected for numerous festivals. Back in Paris, he trained in editing at the Ecole Supérieure d'Etudes Cographiques. A year later, he wrote and directed Une Nuit, his first Parisian short film, which was also selected for several international festivals. He diversifies his artistic practices, notably through photography and writing. Her first novel, entitled Les Amants, was published in 2020 by Cœur de Lune.

Lucien Burckel de Tell currently works as an image editor in various fields, in particular that of capture and clip because of his musical sensitivity. In 2022 he directed Lukas M., a short film inspired by Luka Rocco Magnotta's run.
