Synopsis : In the medieval Swiss Alps, a young winemaker creates the best wine in the world. When Death himself appears to taste his wine, he discovers that his beloved is the next victim on Death's list. He then manages to trick her and imprison Death in a small barrel, ignoring the consequences on the natural order of things.
