LORENZO PUNTONI

Biography

Lorenzo was born in 1986 on the island of Elba, in Tuscany. At eighteen, he moved to Aquila to study cinema at the Accademia dell'Immagine, specializing in cinematography. He has worked as an assistant director for some of the most interesting young Italian directors in recent years, including Fulvio Risuleo and Manfredi Lucibello. His short film Acquario has been selected by more than seventy festivals around the world, including Visioni Italiane, I Love GAI, Brussels Short Film Festival and Brest European Short Film Festival. As a writer, he is currently developing Fabula, a television series which has been selected for the Audio Drama Pitching Forum 2020, organized by the Mercato Internazionale Audiovisuale (MIA) in Rome.
