Biography
Director, producer and journalist, Tibo Pinsard puts his foot in the image at the fine arts of Dijon. It is there that he rubs shoulders with artists as renowned as they are different, such as Yan Pei-Ming or Orlan.
In parallel with his work as a journalist and after a few years of producing photos and videos by diverting images from video games, Tibo Pinsard turned to documentaries and directed The Stooges Guide to Eternity, an hour-long film on the group of the legendary Iggy Pop.
In 2008, the director turned to fiction, writing and directing the short film L'île, with Alysson Paradis, Simon Charasson and Thierry Frémont. After a new documentary with La Reine du Meix, a sensitive portrait of an octogenarian lost in the depths of the Burgundy countryside, Tibo Pinsard is filming Clin d'oeil, a six-minute whimsical fiction. In 2012, he released a new fiction, Emile's last trip, a medium-length film shot on Reunion Island. Since then, the author-director has worked on numerous projects, both in documentary and fiction, whether he produces them within Darrowan Prod, or with other production companies.
