Biography

Gaël Breton was born in 1977 in Perpignan. He is a screenwriter, director and producer.

2000 - He participates in the MK2 Gaumont Kielowski prize.

2001 - He writes and directs his first film essay, "Attachante Cruauté", a feature film that tells the story of a schizophrenic character.

2002 - He works for the National Center of Art and Culture Georges Pompidou in Paris.

2009 - He writes and directs a Franco-Spanish film "Acuerdate" (Remember yourself), which tackles the theme of the quest for identity and origins through a journey between Paris (France) and Lanzarote (Spain). It is selected in various festivals such as: European Spiritual Film Festival (Paris, France) / RomeIndependent Film Festival (Rome, Italy) / New York Independent Film Festival (chaired by Abel Ferrara) where it wins the prize for best foreign film / Los Angeles Film Festival where he won the prizes for best actor and best cinematography.

2013 - He created the company L'Arbre Productions.
